About bicycle transport in the German Bentheim

From 25 to 27 October, deputy mayor Mateusz Podsadny participated in a study visit to the Bentheim County as part of the PE4Trans project - an integral cooperation project to improve low-emission economy policy. The theme of the visit is bicycle transport in combination with water and rail transport on the example of Bentheim County.

The visit was attended by representatives of the Kalisz-Ostrow Agglomeration Association, which is implementing the project together with the Foundation of the University of Adam Mickiewicz, Poznań Science and Technology Park and foreign partners from Germany, Great Britain, Greece and Spain. It was another meeting within the project.

The PE4Trans project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) by the Interreg Europe program. The value of the project is EUR 1,409,791.00. The implementation of the project assumes the exchange of knowledge and experience between partners so that the best solutions in the field of sustainable transport can be implemented in Greater Poland. The implemented project complements and continues the activities towards sustainable public transport and supports low emissions.
