About the low-carbon economy in Bremen

From 20 to 21 October, Krystian Kinastowski, the Mayor of Kalisz, participated in an information and promotion trip to Bremen and Northern Germany as part of the competition project "Gospodarna 2050 - H2Wielkopolska". This project is co-financed by the Wielkopolska Regional Operational Program for 2014-2020, Measure 1.4: Internationalization of the regional economy, Sub-measure 1.4.2: Economic promotion of the region.

Participation in the trip became possible thanks to the participation of the City of Kalisz in the competition, in which the commitment and advancement in activities for the development of a low- and zero-emission economy, taking into account hydrogen as an energy carrier, were assessed. The costs related to participation in the trip are covered by the Marshal's Office of the Wielkopolska Region.

The delegation also included: Jacek Bogusławski, Member of the Board of the Wielkopolska Province and employees of the Marshal's Office of the Wielkopolska Province, representatives of the authorities of Piła and Konin, the Wielkopolska Center for Advanced Technologies of the Adam Mickiewicz University, and representatives of several companies. All trip participants have access to the Hydrogen Technology Conference & Expo, taking place at the Messe Bremen.

The conference consists of 3 parallel panels, from which participants can choose the corresponding lectures.

The event brings together companies and specialists from the hydrogen industry from Europe, as well as representatives of public institutions involved in activities for the low-emission economy.

On Wednesday, there was a meeting with Kristina Vogt, Senator of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen for Economy, Labor and Europe. an opportunity to talk with Nienke Homan, Minister Regional of the Province of Groningen (NL) and with representatives of hydrogen projects at the University of Bremen.
