Due to the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus and restrictions on the organization of mass events, municipal events accompanying the celebration of the City of Kalisz were canceled. Also the solemn session of the City Council scheduled for June 5 was postponed.

A similar situation has affected some of our partner cities. Letters informing about the cancellation or postponement of traditional ceremonies were sent to President Krystian Kinastowski by the authorities of Kamieniec Podolski and the Bulgarian Lovech.
