"Speak, sport, click and sing!" - participants of the ERASMUS + program paying a visit to the Mayor

Teachers from the partner city Hamm (Germany) and from Neufchateau (France) together with representatives of Primary School No. 10 in Kalisz were today guests of mayor Krystian Kinastowski. The opportunity to meet became a participation in the international project for primary schools "Speak, sport, click and sing!" under the ERASMUS + program.

The project started in September 2019 and will last until the end of August 2021. Four primary schools participate: Hellwegschule from Hamm (Germany), Ecole Marcel Pagnol from Neufchateau (France), Instituto comprensivo Rosmini from Crotone (Italy) and Maria Konopnicka Primary School No. 10 in Kalisz.

Foreign guests came to Kalisz yesterday afternoon to work on the digital competences of teachers for the next 4 days. Today in the host school the first training in the cycle of using digital media and digital space through the use of tablets, computers, digital cameras, a common blog and eTwinning took place. The meeting was also an opportunity to exchange experiences and talk about various school systems in Poland, Germany and France.

Teachers and students will meet in each of the four countries where short-term student exchanges and teacher training will take place. The next meeting of youth from partner schools is planned in Kalisz in May 2020 - four students aged 10 will come from each school.

As part of the project, each partner will share its strengths with others. A school from Italy (whose representatives did not reach Kalisz) will present methods of cooperative learning of a foreign language, in particular German and English.

Germany will present how to be a sport-oriented school with particular emphasis on mass sports. During the meeting in Hamm there is a sports day during which a marathon for children and beach handball matches will take place.

The French will teach the emission of voice and songs belonging to the culture of each country. Created song projects will be disseminated through the blog, and during the student exchange a musical will be created that will be recorded and disseminated.

In implementing the project, the schools will additionally cooperate with the "Amici del tedesco" Association of German Friends in Crotone, the "Ecole de musique Neufchateau" music school and the Hamm Hammer Sportverein (HSC) sports club.
